Organic germanium consists of a ring of 6 germanium atoms, which are tightly surrounded by 12 oxygen atoms.
The germanium is like an adhesive that holds the 12 oxygen atoms together in a very small space, but does not itself react with the organism.
This oxygen bound by the germanium is not released into the organism, but mainly serves as a radical scavenger for H + ions. Food is burned by the body, producing carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2). The carbon dioxide finds its way out of the body by exhaling it through the lungs. In contrast, the hydrogen combines with inhaled oxygen to form water and is excreted through the kidneys and skin. Many diseases, including Lyme disease, are based on chronic hypoxia and it has a tragic effect when a large part of the inhaled oxygen cannot serve the cell metabolism at all because it is previously converted into water by greedy hydrogen ions and excreted or even stored in an edematous manner.
The many oxygen atoms bound to germanium have a beneficial effect in this situation, because they bind the free hydrogen and clear the way so that the inhaled oxygen can reach the cells unhindered and develop its invigorating effect there.
The organic germanium enables intensified tissue respiration, which would otherwise be difficult to achieve in the respective disease state and soon the patient gets a well-perfused skin and warm limbs. Because no unnecessary water is created from H + ions and oxygen, the organism is also dehydrated or kept dry in a healthy way.
Wounds no longer ooze and repair processes take place unhindered.
The hydrogen ion binding also has the effect that human pathogens cannot find a basis for life without the pathologically excessive, watery environment.
The germanium-bound oxygen not only traps hydrogen ions, but also other free radicals and cell toxins.
